Postcards from the edge

The photos were randomly given to people throughout the city. The people then, wrote a letter to the person of their choice using the image as a point of reference. The postcards were addressed to family members, friends, or couples, in which they expressed emotions relating to different circumstances, but always addressing the geographical, and even sociopolitical position of Tijuana. The letters were scanned and merged with the image; stamps were created, and digitized to design a postcard that reflects the city and its inhabitants.
Postcards formed by a photograph of Tijuana from a personal archive compiled from 1990 to date.
