The front of each wall receives a projection on a squared plastered finish. The adobe brick wall receives the projection of a video documenting a day’s labor at a construction site in Rosarito, Baja California Mexico. The wooden wall video, projects the same situation, this time filmed in San Diego California. Both videos reduce a whole day of Mexican workers on both sides of the border to an eight-minute projection. The videos depict obvious differences in disciplines, materials, and work attitudes, as well as group, and individual interaction in both societies.
Two back-to-back parallel walls separated by 6 inches. One made of wood, and the other made of adobe brick.
